Due to popular request, we've been making preparations for our subscribers to come visit us - on the farm in Potosi, Wisconsin!
Use this page as your guide for the Farm Day, more information will be added as the day approaches! What can I expect if I come?
Right now the Farm Day is still in a work in progress and we are planning Saturday, June 23rd. Our goal for the farm day is for our dedicated subscribers who are willing to make the trip to be able to make a connection with our videos. Being able to see something you've only ever seen in videos and pictures helps put things into perspective.
That said, we would love for everyone to be able to get up close to our equipment and be able to see the equipment and buildings in person. Due to the nature of the beast, we don't have any current plans to give tours of all the farms, so the farm day will be at the main farm. Due to security reasons, we won't be able to allow anyone into the buildings other than those open, but our equipment will be out for everyone to come have a look at and several of us that you've seen in our videos will be there so you can shake our hands and get to chat with us, and get our autographs if you'd like. Below are some things you could expect to see
There are many other things we would love to do, however we are limited to what we can do in terms of what our insurance and the law will allow us. The event will be held 10AM-4PM. I'm only charging admission to cover costs with insurance, bathrooms, prizes, and seating. Tickets will be sold at the gate! FAQ

FARM DAY CRITICAL INFORMATION ON TICKETS
(Address on ticket)
Hours: 10 AM - 4 PM CDT Welcome to the How Farms Work Farm Day 2018! This ticket will serve as your guide to help you get to the farm, though the details of this ticket are subjected to change, and you should refer to our Farm Day page on our website or Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. Please be advised that though this event starts at 10 AM, I recommend considering choosing to arrive later in the day as our entry to the farm is a short driveway, which may result in heavy traffic back-up if everyone comes right at 10. Parking: Parking will be at the farm unless otherwise specified on our website, or by the gate attendant. The Gate Attendant will direct you where you need to go. Hand your ticket(s) to the gate attendant, and if you need disabled parking, be sure to ask where you can park. In the event of heavy rain, parking will be very restricted, so you must listen closely to the gate attendant. Disabled Parking will be to the left of the flagpole, and to the right of the gate attendant in the grass. Those of you who are adults without children may park directly across the road, within the marked areas and cross the road. BE AWARE OF CROSS TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY. Parking is our biggest concern, as if it rains we are concerned about cars getting stuck in the hay field and field parking will be unreachable. If you have a trailer, I recommend leaving it where you’ll be staying as we will likely be very tight for parking IF it rains. Please park in an orderly fashion. Events: We will hold a drawing at 2:00 to give away signed items. To be entered into the drawing to win, simply arrive at the farm before 2:00. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. Your ticket(s) will be used in in the drawing so if you would like an extra copy of this ticket after you arrive, be sure to print an extra copy! Food: Food will be available for purchase in the garage next to the merchandise. Food will be served 11-3 or until food runs out. There will be two portable toilets on site. DO NOT CROSS ANY AREAS MARKED OFF WITH TWINE. By attending this event, you acknowledge by being on a farm you accept certain risks and are warned to stay off any equipment other than the tractors, and are advised to take extreme caution and only climb into the tractors if you are healthy and fully capable of doing so. Causing damage to any equipment will result in prosecution. Filming is encouraged, and drone usage is allowed, but you must maintain at least 30 feet of separation from any building, person, power lines, other drones, and pieces of equipment. You must obey all laws regarding the usage of drones. By attending this event, you agree to being filmed with the footage to appear on YouTube. In the case you lose your ticket, the gate attendant will be able to look you up, however this will be very time consuming and may result in traffic back-up, so you may be told to pull to the side until those who have their tickets can pull through. The information on this ticket will be available on the Farm Day tab on our website. (www.howfarmswork.com) How Farms Work Staff will be wearing fluorescent green How Farms Work shirts if you need any assistance or have any questions.
